Hello world! Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday because, we’re about to kick some more ass. After yet another blog about a my shitty love life, it’s time to talk about some more serious matters. Are any of you guys familiar with the phrase “The Bully Pulpit” No? I thought so. For those who aren’t, A bully pulpit is a conspicuous position that provides an opportunity to speak out and be listened to. The term was coined by President Theodore Roosevelt, who referred to the White House as a “bully pulpit”, by which he meant a terrific platform from which to advocate an agenda. To put it in simpler terms; It’s a place both physically and, figuratively where you spout any message good or bad and, people will hear it loud and clear whether they want to or not. Those who often follow my blogs will know that I often touch the subject of bullying, a subject that unfortunately hits home for me. Growing up I got bullied quite a bit. The scars still linger from my many ordeals and, I sometimes struggle greatly with my self esteem. People with disabilities get bullied and, even abused at a disproportionate rate. Now I’ve never really touched the subject of abuse but, we need to talk about two stories that have made they news as of late and unfortunately for reasons that over shadow an even bigger problem in our society.

Back in 2015, a black teammate with a disability was lured into a locker room by three of his punk mother fucking teammates who happened to be white. The assaulted him and, proceeded to shove a coat hanger in the boy’s rectum. They then continued to kick the hanger several times to the point that it caused internal damage. They then continued to humiliate the boy and, forced the black boy to sing a Ku Klux Klan song he learned in Texas, called “Notorious KKK.” Howard (The ringleader) also encouraged other football players to join in on the vicious bullying, the suit alleges. The boy “was taunted and called racist names by other members of the team which names include ‘Kool-Aid’ ‘chicken eater’ ‘watermelon’ and the word “Nigger” (If you feel super uncomfortable reading this word in my blog then, it means you have a conscience and realize how sick that word is). Howard was brought to court and in the end, that cowardly punk bitch did not face any charges. Obviously the outrage was made loud and clear. People took to the internet and, stormed the stormed the streets like any one would as a result of someone getting away with such a heinous crime. As Billy Mays would say in one of his infamous infomercials “BUT WAIT! THERE’S MORE”.

Recently a bunch of punk motherfuckers went to the suburbs, kidnapped their white classmate who has ADHD and Schizophrenia and, tortured him. He was forced to drink dirty toilet water the suspects forced him to say “fuck Donald Trump.” At one point they cut the man’s hair until his scalp bled before flicking cigarette ash into the wound. He was discovered when neighbors downstairs complained to cops about the noise during the attack and the foursome responded by kicking down their door. To add insult to injury, these motherfuckers decided to air the entire thing on facebook live. Clearly they didn’t care about getting caught. These low lives wanted the whole world to to see the really awful shit they were doing to this kid. Like they other story above, this was clearly a hate crime with a message for the whole world to see. That they did not like white people and, that they should be made to suffer.

Now while the first story is a year old, it came in the spotlight recently due to the recent court ruling in December. It also came to light because, the story above was very similar to the one before it. Both were racially motivated attacks where the perpetrators took someone and, humiliated them in order to send a message of hate for a particular group. Now according society, that’s where the similarities end. The first case received an outcry from many African Americans about the lack of justice in this case. Many white people cried foul when the second story came out, especially those who didn’t cry foul during the first story. These stories on the surface expose a serious double standard in our society that is reserved for another blog. Now for me, the similarities don’t end at the fact that these were racially motivated. There’s unfortunately one similarity that a lot of people aren’t touching on and, it breaks my heart. Both of these victims in these stories were people with disabilities. The guys in each attack could’ve targeted anyone else but, they decided to target people who have cognitive impairments why? Because there’s a perception that they’re weak so, to them they’re easy targets. That and, it sends a message of hate in the loudest way possible whether you want to hear it or not.

While the media outlets and, social media get dragged into another sick game of race baiting each other; Not many people will ever focus on the real losers in this story, those with disabilities who continue to get bullied and, abused. People with disabilities get abused daily and, no one will ever know. As a matter of fact, the only reason these stories got the hits they did are because of the racial motivations behind each incident. You will never hear the media focus solely on the fact these both of these victims had a disability; That fact is simply flame accelerant for a fire so big, Smokey The Bear would be disgusted. We should’ve been preventing fires but, we just keep fucking things up for everyone else. Racism is a huge problem in this country; You wanna know what else is a huge problem in this country? Abuse and bullying of people with disabilities. I’m in no way trying to overshadow the racial component in both of these stories; I just need people to be aware of how quickly that fact gets either swept under the rug or, used for all the wrong reasons. You’ll noticed I referred to both groups of bullies as “punk motherfuckers” That’s because bullying knows no race. I don’t give a fuck what color your skin is. If you prey on anyone with a disability just to push and agenda of hate, you are a punk motherfucker in my eyes, the lowest of the low, the scum of the earth. I have zero tolerance for bullying and, If I ever catch you bullying anyone, lord have mercy on your face. Whoo, I feel slightly better now that I’ve gotten that out of my system. It’s been real guys.
